Hey guys.
Several months ago, actually it’s probably around a year and a half ago, I started working on a computer game based around the No More Stories album. I wanted it to be a kind of “follow up” to the Frenger & Comical Bird game, but this time I wanted it to look like an old Nintendo platform thing. I had big plans, it was gonna have a level for each song on the album, complete with end-of-level monsters, goodies, baddies, you name it. I worked on it on and off for, well, a year and a half. But ultimately I have come to the conclusion that this is just too ambitious a project for me to finish. Animating pixelated graphics with no keyframes is simply too time-consuming.
Nevertheless, in case any of you are curious, I have uploaded it - in its latest working beta version - to the Evil Office server.
It’s full of bugs, jerky, and completely unfinished. In fact, it only has one level, and that one is not even finished.
You control your character with the LEFT/RIGHT/DOWN cursor, SHIFT is jump, and SPACEBAR is shoot. Oh, and you may have to click with your mouse inside the game field when it starts to be able to control anything. This game is completely flash-based, so you will not be able to run it on your iPhone or iPad or any such device.
Anyway, here’s the link:

Enjoy! But don’t expect too much!
